Equestrian Federation of India

1. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused nation-wide lockdown thereby resulting in all equestrian competitions and training activities to be suspended wef Mar 2020 as ordered by National/State Health authorities.

2. As per guidelines on Unlock 4, issued from Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India on 29 Aug 2020, sports activities has been allowed outside the containment zones with effect from 21 Sep 2020 with a restriction on gathering of less than 100 persons.

3. In view of the above, Bid’s for Regional Equestrian League (REL) for JNEC 2020-21 and NEC Tent Pegging 2020-21 are invited from clubs who are willing to conduct the REL’s in compliance with Government (Central/State/Local Administrative Authority) guidelines as applicable and EFI Covid-19 Protocol (available on website).

4. All Organising Committee’s (OC) are requested to please follow the REL Guidelines 2020-21 for conduct of RELs. However the following exemptions have been made due to COVID-19 pandemic to facilitate organise of REL’s:-

(a) Last REL to be conducted 10 days before the commencement of JNEC 2020 and NEC Tent Pegging 2020-21

(b) Bid form required d to reach this NF 15 day before conduct of REL.

(c) Organiser to forward bid form as per REL guidelines 2020-21 and corpus money directly to this NSF for approval to avoid time lag.

(d) The results of the REL’s conducted post JNEC 2019-20 till lockdown in Mar 2020 are valid.
