National Jumping Novice Fault and out competition , had the entire field of Novice horses requiring to be  speedy but clear and trying to do as many fences as possible in stipulated time of 60 seconds.

Riding early in the draw at serial number third , Lt Col G S Gill on Mahi completed the entire course cleanly once , scoring 20 points in 63.96 seconds.

With the course proving tricky at one fence or the other, this score was not seriously challenged till the recharged Aditya Krishna and Gautemala Hog entering at serial thirteen, scored 20 points too, but clocked 65.76 seconds.

There was to be long wait for getting close to the score , till Aliya and Stariano too scored 20 despite riding hard , however clocked 71.11 seconds.

Nadia Haridas rode a good round 20 points again at 66.63 seconds,  but piped Aliya’s time  .

Entering last , Naik Jalim Singh and Thunderpool rode the ride of their life to score 20, and stopped the clock at 62.22 seconds which got them the win ultimately.

Lt Col G S Gill eventually placed second, Aditya Krishna third and Nadia Haridas was placed fourth.

In the South India Equestrian Championship, Preliminary Jumping, Maj N S Sandhu astride Golden Eye , produced the only double clear round in a field of 109 entries, to win the event followed by Dafedar Ajay Sawant astride Tahir with 4 penalties followed by Havildar Sohan Singh again on 04 penalties , but slower on time .
