1. Policies received from various agencies in respect to conduct of sporting events are endorsed herein for reference and strict compliance please.
(a) Consideration for sports federation/sports event organisers when planning mass gathering in the context of COVID-19 by World Health Organisation (WHO)
(b) Guidance for the use of the WHO mass gathering sports addendum risk assessment tool in the context of COVID-19 - WHO
(c) FEI Policy for enhanced competition safety during the COVID-19 Pandemic - FEI
(d) Standard Operating Procedure for Sports Activities – By SAI
2. All organising committees/clubs desirous to conduct events/re-start training activities are requested to self-evaluate the risk through the WHO risk assessment tool and only proceed with the event/training activities if permissible through the risk assessment tool.
3. The WHO guidelines and the SOP for Sporting activities clearly amplifies the social distancing and personal hygiene standards to be maintained which is recommended for strict compliance and implementation.
4. In addition to the above it is strongly recommended to keep the local administrative authorities and local medical authorities in loop while planning any competitive event/training events.
